variety of communications equipment for US West throughout Washington
State. Equipment included but not limited to DS1, DS3, FLM’s, UDC, D4,
OC 48, XDSL, alarms and timing. Responsible for routing all
cat5 cable, fiber, and several different AWG of power cables which included
power cuts to BDFB, and wire wrapping blocks.
US ARMY
US Army Master Sergeant Signal Support Specialist
October 1978 - November 1998
Planned, integrated, coordinated, and supervised
the installation, and maintenance of ground/air radios, mobile
subscriber equipment and all comsec required for secure
communication. Was responsible for the training, health, and
development of 9 soldiers to include assuring readiness to the next higher
level of responsibility. Also directly responsible for over $5 million
dollars’ worth of communications equipment, and comsec account for
the entire brigade with additional duties as comsec custodian with
no recorded loss of any kind during this assignment. Conducted
communications training programs and advised commander on
communications matters to include all pre deployment requirements
for all RF, mobile and comsec required to ensure consent
communication with higher headquarters and other
units. Preformed duties as 1SG for real world deployment
ensuring the welfare health and safety for over 300 soldiers in the Middle
